TINY v are a small, user-focused and ethically-minded web design company operating in central scotland.
we embrace accessible, standards-based web design to create a valuable online presence for you and an invaluable experience for your users.
TINY v believe that all websites should be
all websites should offer good value. not only does that mean a website should be affordable and reflect a good investment, it should also be built in a way that facilitates future change.
all the websites we build utilise web standards to keep the content, behaviour and presentation of your website separate.
what this means in real terms is the security and peace of mind that your website will adhere to the best practices in web design and will be adaptable as your needs and the needs of your users change.
today it is not enough to have a web presence. this presence must be both findable and usable. search engine optimisation is the endeavour to improve the findability of your website. through the considered use of markup, keywords and structure we can improve your place in the wild world of the web.
the web should be available for all, regardless of ability or technology.
that's why we pride ourselves on writing inclusive and accessible websites that do not discriminate against users with disabilities or those using particular devices.
if you ask us to host your site our host of choice, 1&1, guarantee an uptime of 99.99% for your website meaning it will be available even when you're not.
TINY v was set up on january 1st 2007 to provide an identity for the freelance web design work of cole henley. with over 10 years experience in web design cole has a background in archaeology, a keen eye and a passion for good design.
by day cole works for the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland as their web developments manager, overseeing the online presence of government heritage organisations in both Scotland and Wales.
TINY v strongly believe in the importance of the built and natural environment and conserving these for future generations. we strive for carbon neutrality in all our work and our web hosts of choice, 1&1, recently became the first large web hosts to rely solely on renewable energy sources. we sleep easier at night knowing that our web sites don't cost the earth.
